It’s All About Covid-19

We love our disaster movies but, we couldn’t have dreamed this one up on our worse day. It’s 2020, we are in the middle of a worldwide pandemic, and we don’t know what to do and, we are all scared.  

These reported numbers don’t begin to clear things up. Around the world, it’s a nightmare and growing.

As of Wed, May 27th the U.S. reported 101,000 deaths due to the Covid-19 virus. Now, it’s October 2nd and the number has doubled. More than 200,000 people just in this country are dead within 5 months.
 
For some reason when January 2020 rolled around it just didn’t feel right to me. I don’t know why. I felt out of step. Nervous even.  I’d been working on a refi for three months, and as it dragged into January, we just couldn’t make up our mind what we wanted to do. And, then the pandemic hit.

WHAT DID THE HELL HAPPEN?

The conversation about this virus is all over the place. We were planning to move out of the country for a bit. My husband wanted to spend some time with his family in Sudan and set up a business.

When the news broke, the world stopped.  Now, we’re not going anywhere. I try to limit my time on social media, watching the news, and even talking about it.
